Master Watercolor Class 4/11 | 10am

Beginner Master Artist Watercolor Class taught by Sheila Jones.

April 11th from 10:00am-12:00pm at The Artificers!

In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of watercolor, color mixing, tonal value studies, focal point of the composition: the art of arranging, organizing, and combining ingredients to compose a pleasing painting. We will be studying the foreground, the middle ground, and the background in the painting.

Supply List:

Students are welcome to bring their own water paint set ( it can be from a Daniel Smith set to Masters Touch or anything you can purchase locally, inexpensive will work fine).

Strathmore cold press watercolor paper or even a watercolor paper purchased locally.

One set of watercolor pencils ( inexpensive). Students will need these pencils to help with drawing onto the paper to capture their sketch.

Watercolor brushes, bring 3-5 brushes, ( Sheila uses Fuumuul brushes, which can be found on Amazon)

#4 flat brush, #16flat, #12 round, #4 round, and #1 detail brush.

Aprons, Masking Tape, Dryers, Spray Bottles will be provided at The Teaching Studio at The Artificers!
