Back by popular demand: NO SEW FABRIC COLLAGE

Work with textile artist Liberty Worth to give new life and artistic outcomes to old fabric scraps. We will be "painting" (no paint involved) with fabric to create new objects d'art.

This afternoon class will be a time to really let loose and create something abstract. Taking inspiration from nature and art, we will be considering art concepts like pattern, repetition, balance, symmetry/asymmetry, focal points, and movement to create original works of art.

Morning class attendees are also invited to sign up for this class to either work further on their projects or to try this technique in a wilder and freer way.

We will be using irons and fusible adhesive to create no-sew "paintings" from fabric.

No sewing experience needed.

Class Time: February 7th:

3 Hours, 2pm-5pm

Supply List:

Bring yourself, and maybe a few photos or images of things that are inspiring to you.

A sketchbook and pencil

Pair of scissors

Helpful to bring: irons
